Markus Miller (CSCS, USATF Level 1) is a sports performance coach and strength and conditioning specialist, residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has his Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico where he competed as a Division 1 Track athlete. Markus was consistently one of the top high jumpers in the conference as he placed & medaled in all 4 years of competition.
Markus has always understood the need for specialized and individualized training, due to his mentors in the sport and education. In his senior year, he combined his formal education in exercise physiology with his high level competition experience (not to mention passion) to form his own strength and conditioning program that allowed him to set numerous personal records on and off the track.
During that time, he was also coaching youth and elite athletes at a sports performance gym in Albuquerque, where he lead a USATF Youth Club of 30 athletes to achieve their own personal bests. Markus has also spent time at the reputable personal training company, Equinox. There, he coached group running classes and elite competitors in running, while focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation. He also worked with clients who had weight loss goals.
Markus is dedicated to ensuring all athletes reach their specific goals, while using collaboration with the individual. He believes the best results for performance come from a trusting relationship and open communication.
